Hitori
Hitori (alone or one person) is a type of logic puzzle published by Nikoli. Hitori is played with a grid of squares or cells, each cell contains a number. The object is to eliminate numbers by filling in the squares such that remaining cells do not contain numbers in either a given row or column that appear more than once. There can be no horizontal or vertically adjacent filled-in cells although they can be diagonally adjacent. The remaining un-filled cells must not be isolated vertically, horizontally or diagonally by filled in cells from the rest of the grid.
